We are on Marie Claire Turkey (and France very soon!)
Happy Tuesday beautiful!
Ok. Today’s post will be slightly hijacked (for just a minute) by some news I received on Friday:
Several months ago, I received a very unexpected e-mail from the Senior Editor at Marie Claire Magazine in Istanbul, Turkey. Apparently, they had been following my works for a long while and had finally decided to reach out for an exclusive (long distance) interview and possible full-page feature of VeruDesigns,LLC.
I’m very, very appreciative of all the press I’ve been fortunate to receive so far (here in the US, Europe and Asia), but when you’re asked to be interviewed for a possible full-page feature with one of the most prestigious publications, in such a beautiful and historically-rich country as is Turkey, it’s extra special.
On Friday, I learned that my interview came out as part of the MAY EDITION. I was debating whether I should wait to receive my printed copy (which is on its way!) before telling you, but since the magazine is out right now, and May is soon going to be over…here you go. I hope you indulge me with a little celebrating 🙂
Have a look at our 30-second video , to get a sense of what this month’s publication looks like!
(I’ll share with you what it actually says once I get my copy 🙂 )
Thank you for indulging me 🙂
And now, back to the beautiful theme for today’s post:
Today I’ll introduce you to some of the gorgeous works of three amazing jewelry designers that I got to meet during our exhibition at the National Liberty Museum a little over two weeks ago.
If you love beautiful, handcrafted, unique jewelry, you don’t want to miss this:
1.GLASS HARBOR – By Dawn Harbor
Dawn Harbor has been creating jewelry for more than 20 years. Her work has been building a diverse, loyal and eager following since she opened her retail store in 1987. Dawn’s exhibition space was right next to mine, so I got to see her pieces very closely, and what can I say…they took my breath away.
To see more of Dawn’s works, visit her website at: www.GlassHarbor.com.
2.TIMELESS LINKS JEWELRY – By Elena Herrera and Phyllis Slocum
Elena and Phyllis were right across from me, and I fell IN LOVE with many of their pieces, but one very particular one that (I think) someone else was lucky to buy. Timeless Links Jewelry is all about repurposing antique and vintage jewelry and re-birthing beautiful pieces into artworks that are beautifully wearable. Just have a look!
To see more of their works, visit their website at: TimelessLinksJewelry.com.
3.BETSY ROSS STUDIO – By Betsy Ross
Betsy’s pieces make a statement even if you’re a room away. Her handmade one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces are even more beautiful in person if you can believe that. Her metal work is incredible.
To see more of Betsy’s work, visit her website at: BetsyRossStudio.com.
What do you think? I would LOVE to read your thoughts/comments/questions in the comment section below.
Stay well, stay happy and stay healthy. See you in two weeks !!

It’s so beautiful to see your business growing and getting to be known. I’m an artist as well, and I remember reading about you in a spanish arts and craft publication in Madrid. Gosh that must’ve been 2 and a half years ago? My husband and I were on a holiday with some friends. All the best!
Also, I really, really like Dawn’s jewelry work. I’m looking at her website right now!
