Being Alive, Being Light – Necklaces
We’re starting this fabulous August with as much boldness, aliveness and light I can muster. I hadn’t created any new colossal-bead necklaces in a while, until a very, very special client of ours recently commissioned a summer necklace, all the way from Germany. As I began working on her necklace I realized how much I love these kinds of necklaces. And so, I created a few more, two of which are being revealed today. I hope you enjoy them too.
Vivant – Necklace
This is a very simple necklace filled with personality, vibrant colors and the same contemporary patterns that have been inspiring me recently. To show it off, I got to work with Katie Tillman, a gorgeous woman, fellow artist, a fabulous mother of two! and new friend. One of my favorite things is photographing inspiring women that are not professional models, but are very beautiful nevertheless. Women with a story to tell, who are walking a journey of continuously becoming a better version of themselves.
Here is Katie, wearing beautifully our Vivant (which means aliveness in french) Necklace. Enjoy!
It’s always about the details:
The Vivant necklace is available for purchase and shipping immediately!
Licht – Necklace
This necklace was commissioned by a beautiful client based in Germany. The project started with Alena providing me with some general guidance on the design, that allowed me to create a first version of her necklace (which you can see here). However the final version of this necklace has a few variations. I loved Alena’s clarity that came out of this first version. We changed the necklace a little bit to make it slightly less informal, by changing the hot pink inner-string and knots, with golden-wave separators in between the colossal beads. That final version is now happily in Germany with her.
Alena not only inspired the design, but also the name for this piece, which I felt was too perfect. “Light” (or Licht in german), is a translation of her name (Alena). It matches her personality and kindness perfectly.
This necklace can be commissioned anytime! You may request similar or different colors, themes and patterns for each bead. All our colossal bead jewelry pieces take up to 5 days to be completed.
What do you think about our designs? I would love to read your thoughts in our comments section below 🙂
Stay well, stay happy, stay healthy, stay as the lovable, kind, positive and one-of-a-kind person that you are.
I’ll be in touch in 2 weeks!
Hello Veruschka, … yes it’s been a while, but I love this necklace. She is just beautiful.
Thanks again!
Alena
Hi Alena! Thank you. SO GOOD to hear from you!
Much warmth to you <3
Amazing. I love them both. What can I say. You never disappoint!! Are you ever going to come back for a private showing in Brooklyn again?
Your models are as beautiful as your amazing jewelry! Katie is gorgeous! Beautiful face, and since she is an artist and a friend of mine Im sure she’s also beautiful on the inside. I adore both necklaces. The Vivant necklace is so much fun and full of energy. But the Licht necklace steals the show. A total show stopper. Beauties.
Thank you Joanna! I’m so happy you think so. Katie is in fact gorgeous on the outside and inside. And she’s very talented too!
So much fun! At the same time I can totally see both necklaces working perfectly well on a beautiful evening gown. These are true statement pieces! I’m so jealous of Alena, her necklace is stunning. I love your newsletter, it always starts my Tuesday with so much energy and beauty. Greetings from San Francisco!
Both necklaces look delicious! You’re right. These are full of life and fun. Just gorgeous as expected. Your model is so beautiful too!
