ABOUT VERU DESIGNS
I believe that Jewelry chooses you , as much as you choose it.
I’m a big fan of women who love their bodies, but know that their true power is in their minds & hearts. Women who are unafraid of wearing a statement necklace that will guide people’s attention towards their eyes, words and their sexiest curve: An authentic smile.
I love colors, patterns and texture, because like you, they express the many dimensions that make up your feelings, thoughts and intentions as you step into your world every day.
I am a coffee lover! And believe that a great Barista is like a great Jewelry Designer. Craftsmanship is what it’s all about. Pouring passion and love into each coffee cup, or jewelry piece, as if it were the first and last of its kind. Because it is.
I’m a woman who likes fashion, but LOVES style . A woman who adores being a woman, and who trough the art of jewelry making, has found a way of celebrating that gift, every day.
VeruDesigns is an American Brand, lead by a Bolivian woman, who hopes you’ll find among our jewels the perfect means of self-expression in your journey towards awakening to who-you-really-are .
So grateful for our recent features in these beautiful publications!

Artist Statement:
Losing a loved one to cancer felt as if my whole life perspective had utterly been changed, very suddenly.
Things that had been priorities suddenly didn’t feel important anymore. VeruDesigns became my unexpected savior in that sense. It was born out of a need to believe in beauty, choice and meaning again. . . which is what Art is all about in a way. A piece of Art houses the journey of its creation, the love poured into it. And so you could say, that my art jewelry is a way of sharing the love I have to give, with women who resonate with my creations.
Beauty and love have many languages, and my favorite language is no doubt COLOR and texture. I hope the vibrant colors of my pieces will mirror back the beauty that resides in my clients as well.
“What is my medium?” I work exclusively with clay. A unique type of oven-baked clay made of PVC.
“Are the surfaces painted?” NO. Each bead (be it round or flat) is made of a basic white (very light) clay, that is then covered with the unique colors and patterns of clay you see on the finished piece.
Even though the clay itself comes in a range of colors, most times they require further mixing and matching to get the exact tones I’m after. The patterns are created using different techniques depending on the size of the piece and the kind of pattern I’m trying to create. The most basic technique is very much like making a puzzle. Imagine the finished pattern you see on a bead as a finished puzzle, where each bit of color on the bead is a piece of clay that was hand cut using a small razor blade and then put together with my fingers next to the other small pieces of colorful clay, until the desired patterns are formed.
Each piece is not only 100% handmade, but very much one-of-a-kind, and can never be perfectly replicated again. A piece can only be born when something inspired me to do so. My job is then to infuse myself, and expose myself and seek the beauty in things, places and subjects.
How durable is it? It’s much more resilient than you may think. However it’s not metal or a stone. Ultimately, you’re purchasing not just jewelry, but a piece of Art. All my pieces come with a lifetime guarantee. That means that if something were to happen to your piece, you can count on it being fully restored or replaced.
